Christmas arrived early in South Bend tonight, all thanks to the Silver Hawks.
The team hosted Christmas in July, complete with all of your holiday favorites.
Christmas carolers made their way through the concourse spreading holiday cheer, Santa Claus even made an appearance.
The stadium was filled with Christmas decorations and even salvation army bell ringers.
“We had folks from the Salvation Army here ringing bells,” said Joe Hart, President of the Silver Hawks. “I was actually taking tickets and I heard somebody walking in saying how cool they even have the bell ringers here so, people have noticed and that's the exciting thing. When people come out and they leave, when they are talking to people and go, ‘you will never guess what we saw at the ballpark tonight,’ that’s what we are looking to try to do.”
About 5,000 people were at tonight's game.
