All that stands in the way of Plymouth native Morgan Uceny and the Olympics is 1,500 meters. It will be the most important four minutes of Uceny's career.
The former Plymouth High School standout finished 1st in her heat Friday night at the U.S. Olympic Trials in the Semifinals of the 1,500 meter run in Eugene, Oregon with time of four minutes and 8.90 seconds.
She now advances to Sunday's final where a top three finish sends her to London and the Olympics for the first time in her career. You can watch Morgan run for a spot on the Olympic Team live on WNDU-TV Sunday night at 7:23pm.
Notre Dame alum Dan Clark missed advancing to the final in the men's 1,500 race by .08 seconds.
