This Saturday the Fighting Irish will be one of seven collegiate teams wearing brand-new jerseys from Adidas.

It's a new line of TechFit compression football jerseys. The jerseys have a tighter fit and weigh 30-percent less than standard jerseys, with lighter fabric and fewer seams.

Adidas says the new look will help the players be lighter and faster on the field.

Michigan, Louisville, Cincinnati, Texas A&M, UCLA and Tennessee will also have the new jerseys this weekend.

Notre Dame will be getting blue and white jerseys, as well as a green option.

Those blue jerseys will be on the field this Saturday when Notre Dame takes on Western Michigan. This will be the first time the teams have met since 1920.

The Broncos beat Ball State on Saturday 45-16.
