For the 6th time in 10 years, Lakeshore has capture a boys basketball district championships.
The undefeated Lancers used a 10-0 run to end the 3rd quarter and start the 4th en route to a 54-43 win over Benton Harbor in the Class B District Championship game at Berrien Springs Friday night.
The Lancers, who lost in the state championship game a year ago, are now 21-0 and will play Sturgis in the Regional Semifinals Monday night at 6pm at Marshall.
At New Buffalo, Bridgman continued its underdog run through the post-season with a 56-35 win over Watervliet to capture the Class C District Championship.
The Bees entered the post-season with just seven wins, but picked up three wins this week to advance to regionals. Bridgman will face White Pigeon Monday night.
