Irish quarterback Tommy Rees remains enrolled in classes at Notre Dame and continues to work out with his teammates, Irish coach Brian Kelly told NewsCenter 16 Monday.
Rees faces four misdeamenors following a run in with police at an off campus party in May.
"All those things are being worked through," Kelly said of Rees' status. "There will be a decision once we get everything taken care of but my mind isn't wrapped up around that. I'm more focused on what is happening today."
Kelly talked to NewsCenter 16 at the Irish Legends Golf outing, benefiting his Kelly Cares Foundation as well as the charities of Irish coaching greats Lou Holtz and Ara Parseghian. Both Holtz and Parseghian were in attendance for the event.
Rees is due back in court on July 17th.
