Notre Dame ranked 25th in new BCS Standings

Notre Dame is ranked 25th in the latest BCS Standings, released on Sunday night.

The Irish need to be in the Top 14 by the end of the regular season to be eligible for selection for one of the five BCS Bowls.

If the 6-2 Irish, which won their 3rd straight game Saturday at Air Force 45-10, were to win their final four games--they should make that Top 14 plateau.

Notre Dame's toughest opponent left on the schedule is Stanford. The 7-1 Cardinal are 5th in the BCS Standings. Notre Dame's two losses are to 10th ranked Oklahoma and #21 Michigan.

Michigan State, who's only loss is to Notre Dame, is 22nd.

The Irish are 25th in the Coaches Poll and unranked in the AP Poll.

Notre Dame will be the favorite in their next three games at home against Navy Next Saturday, on the road at Pitt and back at home against BYU.
