Notre Dame plays St. Joseph in the semifinals of the Coaches versus Cancer Classic Friday night at 9:30pm. The Irish will then face either Florida State or BYU on Saturday in the championship or consolation game.
Mike Brey says these early season tournaments can provide great momentum for a team. Two years ago, the Irish won the Old Spice Tournament in Orlando and never looked back, riding the momentum to a #2 seed for the NCAA Tournament.

Notre Dame is 2-0.
