Irish hockey hosts first home game Thursday night

The Notre Dame hockey team hosts its first home game Thursday at 7:30 when they welcome Minnesota-Duluth to the Compton Family Ice Arena.

The Irish Icers are 2-0 already this season after wins last weekend at the Ice Breaker Tournament in Kansas City.

Minnesota-Duluth is the team that beat Notre Dame in the Frozen Four in 2011.

The two will also play Friday night at 7:30.
