So what do Irish football players want for Christmas?
"I don't know if [Santa] can bring me anything on Christmas morning, but January 7th around midnight--national championship will be nice, real nice," Irish wideout TJ Jones says with a big smile.
Others made a real plea to their parents.
"I really want a large, warm Northface jacket," cornerback Bennett Jackson says. "You know it's not the best weather up here in South Bend so that would be a present I would really appreciate from my parents if you see this."
Others were a little ridiculous---or maybe he is serious.
"I saw online an electric kazoo," says Irish safety Matthias Farley. "I think that would be awesome to have so that I could share my gift of kazoo skills to the world on a grander stage."
So wait, Farley has great kazoo skills?
"I'm pretty good at it," Farley says. "I don't want to toot my own kazoo but I'm pretty skilled at the areas of the kazoo. I can play it by ear so that's pretty unique."
