Bryan Rust scored the game winning goal 1:18 into overtime as Notre Dame beat Bowling Green 1-0 in game one of the CCHA Quarterfinals at The Compton Family Ice Arena Friday night.
Steven Summerhays had 22 saves in the shutout victory for the Irish who can book their ticket to the CCHA Semifinals at Joe Louis Arena next week with a win Saturday night or Sunday at 7pm at the Comp.
Anders Lee and Nick Costello had the assists on the Rust game winning score.
