Notre Dame, Ind. The Blue Angels were introduced at Friday night's Notre Dame pep rally, but they had a big job Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium.

The team, based out of Pensacola, Florida, is compromised of six F-18 jets, which are part of a larger fleet.

The pilots flew, in formation, across Notre Dame Stadium before the Notre Dame-Navy game Saturday.

It was an important game for the pilots, but it was even more special to three of them. One of the pilots is a Notre Dame grad, and two pilots played football for Navy.
