Blackthorn and Four Winds Casino to host golf tour for LPGA hopefuls
Golf has been gaining a lot more publicity in the last ten years and now, the top young women vying for a spot on the LPGA tour will have their chance as they compete, right here in Michiana.

Golf has been gaining a lot more publicity in the last ten years and now, the top young women vying for a spot on the LPGA tour will have their chance as they compete, right here in Michiana.

Wednesday, Blackthorn Golf Course as well as Four Winds Casino announced they'll be hosting the Four Winds Invitational on the Symetra tour.

It's a golf tour for younger female golfers hoping to get on the professional circuit.

Since Four Winds is apart of the event, there's a big cash prize of $150,000.

That is bringing the best young golfers from more than 30 different countries.

The top ten golfers out of 144 on the tour will be given an LPGA tour card. The tournament will take place August 10-12.
