The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that the team will return to Notre Dame to open their 2014-15 training camp.
For the second straight year, all Blackhawks practices will be held at Compton Family Ice Arena, beginning on Friday, Sept. 19, and running through Sunday, Sept. 21. The team will return to Chicago for its annual Training Camp Festival on Monday, Sept. 22.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to return to Notre Dame and their world-class facility,” said Blackhawks Vice President and General Manager Stan Bowman. “We received an overwhelming positive response from our players and staff on their experience at Notre Dame last September and are looking forward to another great weekend to kick off training camp next season.”
A complete training camp schedule, including Notre Dame ticket information, will be released at a later date.
The Blackhawks Training Camp Festival will be held at the United Center on Monday, Sept. 22, and the first 10,000 fans to enter the building will receive a Duncan Keith bobblehead.
