The Bethel College men's basketball team trailed by five points with less than three minutes remaining, but came back to defeat (RV) NAIA D-II Taylor University 69-68 Saturday afternoon.
The Pilots were led by senior Jordan Bowerman who scored 19 points, grabbed five rebounds and added three assists. Matt Schauss had a fine performance at the point guard position contributing 18 points, nine rebounds, six assists and no turnovers. Ryan Bennerchipped in with 15 points while Drew Schauss came off the bench to add six.
