Irish-Spartans 3:30 Saturday

They went back to Training Camp---back to the basics.

But now its time to find out whether it was worth it for the Irish.

Notre Dame looks to avoid making history---bad history---Saturday afternoon against Michigan State at the Stadium.

No Irish team has ever started a season 0-4. The 2007 squad is already 0-3.

Michigan State, meanwhile is 3-0 and boasts and fantastic defense.

The Spartans have a nation leading 17 sacks this season. And that should be a huge advantage against an Irish team that has given up the most sack in the country---23.
