The man who led the Irish to national titles in 1966 and 1973 will have a statue commemorating one of his biggest career wins on Saturday at the stadium.
Ara Parseghian will be depicted being carried off the field by his players after defeating Texas in the Cotton Bowl.
In his career at Notre Dame, Parseghian's teams won 95 games while losing only 17.
