Jimmies set for clash with Concord

It may be a non-conference game, but its certainly a big one.

Undefeated Jimtown---the top ranked team in the state in 2A-travels to Concord to meet the defending 4A semi state champions.

Concord is 4-1 this season.

The Jimmies are hungry for a win.

"Last time we beat them, I was in 6th grade," senior safety and fullback David Schenk says. "It's a great preparation for the playoffs. We really need a game like this."

"It's a huge community game," Jimmies coach Bill Sharpe explains.

"It's a game that gets us ready for the tournament. The teams will play in the tournament are very comparable to the team we're going to play tomorrow night and its always a challenge."

We'll have full highlights of this one and the rest of the big games in Michiana on Friday Night Football, airing on Newscenter 16 at 11 on Friday night.
