Indiana basketball coach Kelvin Sampson is planning a charity auction to help raise money for cancer research.
The auction is planned for October 12th.
For $100, fans will be able to attend a breakfast with Sampson and former IU players. Fans will also have a chance to bid on items such as becoming a ball boy or ball girl, game tickets and the opportunity to become coach for a day.
The Hoosiers will hold their first basketball practice of the season that night following a volleyball match between Indiana and Michigan State. Players will sign autographs between the match and the start of practice.
Sampson says all proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Monroe County branch of the American Cancer Society.
