The St. Joe, Michigan Bears are undefeated so far in 2007 with a perfect 3-0 record.
And their student body and fans are along for the great ride.
The Bears took home week 4's Spirit Award and receive a plaque and check for $100 courtesy for showing the most school spirit last Friday night.
To get the word out, students sent facebook messages to the entire student body to vote for their school.
The excitement with the team's success isn't limited to just the fans. The big start has also given the Bears' players and coaches a lot of confidence
"We're very excited about it," head coach Elliot Uzelac said. "It gives us an opportunity to make a run at the playoffs and that's what we want to do. Our goal is to win the conference championship and get into the playoffs and hopefully we can continue to work hard to do that."
"But we certainly have some tough games ahead of us including this one [tonight] to get our goal."
The Bears face 2-1 Battle Creek Central on Friday night.
