Colts roll over Saints in NFL opener

The defending Super Bowl champs appear to still be in Super Bowl form.

Peyton Manning and the Colts outscored the Saints 31-0 Thursday night in a 41-10 win.

Manning threw three touchdown passes and had 293 yards in the win.

The first touchdown went 27 yards to Marvin Harrison late in the 1st quarter. Harrison had 4 catches for 83 yards.

The Saints got their only touchdown thanks to their defense. Jason David stripped Reggie Wayne of a catch and returned it 55 yards to tie the game at 7.

The two teams headed into the locker room tied at 10.

The 2nd half was all Indy.

Joseph Addai showed he's very capable of being a featured back in his 2nd NFL season. Addai rushed for 118 yards on 23 carries. His only touchdown put the Colts up 17-10.

Wayne redeemed his 2nd quarter fumble in the 2nd half. He caught two 2nd half TDs and finished the game with 7 receptions and 120 yards.
