Brady Quinn will most likely not be the Cleveland Browns starter, GM Phil Savage told an Ohio newspaper on Saturday.
The former Irish quarterback was again impressive Saturday Night. Quinn followed 3-year veterans Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson for the 2nd week in a row.
Savage told another newspaper on Sunday that he believes Frye should be the starter but that head coach Romeo Crennel will have the final decision.
Crennel says he will likely make his decision a week before the season begins.
Quinn completed 7 of 11 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. He again showed poise and control while on the field.
Off the field, Brady has a new look. The shaggy hair is gone with a buzz cut replacing it.
Quinn called the new look "involuntary" and says he can't remember the last time he had his hair this short.
Quinn would not say who influenced the decision for the haircut.
