Earlier this week, Charlie Weis told Newscenter 16's Jeff Jeffers that he has chosen who the quarterback will be for September 1st against Georgia Tech.

Thursday, Weis gave some more details on the battle to replace Brady Quinn.

Weis said that all three players---junior Evan Sharpley, sophomore Demetrius Jones and freshman Jimmy Clausen--continue to receive reps with the 1st team.

Weis said he has not told the players who the starter will be because he does not want to put them in a position where they feel they must lie to the media.

Weis did say he believes the starter should know however, based on the distribution of the reps with the 1st team.
