Roger Schmeltz entered Saturday's 3rd round of the South Bend Metro at Erskine Golf Course a shot back of the lead.

After an even par 70, Schmeltz is now tied with the lead with Loren Crosbie. Both are 1-under overall heading into Sunday's final round at Warren Golf Course.

Crosbie was the co-leader entering the day, and shot a 1-over 71 on Saturday.

Steve Ziolkowski, the other co-leader entering the 3rd round, shot a 75. He is now 4 strokes back of the lead.

Jimmy Joachim jumped into 3rd place with a 3-under 67 in round 3. He is two shots back of Schmeltz and Crosbie.

Nate Hoff is tied with Ziolkowski for 4th place at +3 overall.
