Cubs stay three behind the Brew Crew

The Cubs used to play in Busch Stadium as if they were hoping not to be injured as the Cardinals dominated. Not so these days. Chicago is 3-0 in St. Louis after the 4-3 win on Tuesday.

Chicago scored three times with two men out and then hung on for the win. The key moment in the game was after the Cardinals took a 2-1 lead and had a runner on third and two out. Albert Pujols and Chris Duncan were unable to get Skip Schumaker to the plate. Chicago tied the game in the next at-bat as Ronny Cedeno, just up from Iowa got the big two-out hit.

Aramis Ramirez put the Cubs ahead to stay after Scott Rolen booted an easy ground ball in the 7th with two out.

Carlos Zambrano did not have his best stuff but still got win 13 on the season
