Steven Filer, a 6'2, 210 pound linebacker from Mt. Carmel High School in Chicago will reportedly choose either Notre Dame or Ohio State as his college choice within the next few days.
Filer is also being recruited by Michigan, Minnesota, West Virginia and Illinois. If he were to pick the Irish, Notre Dame would make it a clean sweep of Chicagoland's top high school seniors. ND already has commitments from defensive end Darius Fleming and defensive lineman, Sean Cwynar.
