Irish head football coach Charlie Weis will be back in a Suffolk County Court this coming Friday as his medical malpractice suit begins again. The first proceeding ended in a mistrial.
Weis claims that two surgeons were negligent after Weis underwent gastric bypass surgery while he was offensive coordinator for the Patriots.
During the first trial in February, a juror collapsed and the doctors on trial rendered assistance. The judge declared a mistrial. Some believed after that incident that a settlement would be reached but that was not the case and the trial starts over on Friday
