Round Ball Round Up: Warsaw, Riley stay on top
Friday night's Round Ball Round Up had some telling results. Next Thursday will likely determine the conference champion for both the NLC and the NIC.

Friday night's Round Ball Round Up had some telling results.
Next Thursday will likely determine the conference champion for both the NLC and the NIC.
Warsaw defeated Memorial 57-46 Friday night to improve to 6-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference while the Chargers dropped to 4-2.
Plymouth meanwhile continues to remain in the hunt after a 47-40 win over Goshen. The Pilgrims are 5-1 in the NLC.
Plymouth will travel to rival Warsaw on Thursday.

In the NIC, Clay erased a 15-point halftime deficit to force overtime but came up just short of pulling out the major upset on the NIC leader Riley as the Wildcats escaped with the 61-57 win.
Riley is now 6-0 in the NIC and 12-3 overall while Clay falls just short of pulling off its first conference win.
Washington beat St. Joe 61-54 on Friday to improve to 5-1 in the league standings.
Riley and Washington will meet Thursday with first place in the Northern Indiana Conference on the line.
Penn fell back to 4-2 in the NIC with a 61-60 loss to Central.

Meanwhile, struggling Adams pulled off a huge upset Friday night.
The Eagles, 5-9 entering the night, shocked East Chicago Central 58-48. ECC was 11-1 coming in, ranked 5th in the state.
TJ Ferrell and Trevon Love led Adams with 17 points.
The victory was number 200 for Eagles coach Pat King.

In Michigan, Niles completed a doubleheader sweep of Lakeshore as the Vikings beat the Lancers in girls hoops 54-42 and in boys hoops 57-43.
