Danny Hope's 2010 recruting class is only 20 but in 2009 he signed a very large class so Wednesday's haul balances out the equation.
Ryan Isaac, a defensive lineman from Michigan City, signed with the Boilers as did Bruce Gaston, who had considered Notre Dame and several Big 10 schools before deciding on Purdue. Gaston played at St. Rita High School in Chicago.
Maybe the biggest recruit for 2010 actually was on campus in West Lafayette for the past year. Robert Marve, who started at quarterback for the University of Miami, transferred to Purdue but suffered a knee injury.
He should be ready to go by training camp, 2010 and is expected to be the Boilers starter in 2010.
