Football season is still months away, but the Irish football team is welcoming its newest members on National Signing Day.
All 21 players that verbally committed to the Irish before Wednesday signed on with an additional two being added on National Signing Day itself, bringing Notre Dame's total to 23.
At 9 a.m. the Irish received a huge addition in 4-star lineman Matt James. James is an offensive tackle from Cincinnati, and is considered one of the two best offensive lineman in the class of 2010.
Wednesday afternoon, Kona Schwenke--a defensive lineman from Hawaii, joined the Irish as well.
