Irish hang tough again, win again

Over the weekend, the Irish lost a 15-point lead at Syracuse but still won. Louisville and West Virginia had Muffet's squad down by double digits but the Irish rallied to win.

Last night, Notre Dame grabbed the early lead and never trailed but it sure was a little shaky but the Irish won over Rutgers by 12.

Skylar Diggins had 14 and Becca Bruszewski added 13 to pace Notre Dame. RU trailed by 8 at half and dropped the deficit to two late in the game. But key buckets by Skyar and Ashley Barlow knocked out the Rutgers comeback.

ND is now 20-1 overall and 7-1 in the Big East. The next game is Saturday at the Pavilion with the tip at 2.
