Ricky Carmichael has new challenges awaiting him.
After tomorrow, he will have just one more race left in his illustrious AMA motocross career.
But the 7-time motocross champion isn't looking past tomorrow just yet. That's because RedBud holds a special place in his heart.
Carmichael has always loved riding at the Buchanan dirt track, considered one of the best in the country. He enjoys the big challenges, like LaRocco's leap.
He also enjoys the huge crowd---more than 25,000 people are expected for Sunday's race.
Carmichael has never lost at RedBud. He won every year since 2000. He hopes that won't change in his last race.
A special farewell lap will be given to the Motocross legend, who is leaving the sport to pursue a full-time career in stock car racing.
The RedBud National Championship races begin at 1PM. The event is generating more than $4 million for the region.
