Motocross Racing Ready for RedBud

25,000 people are expected for this weekend's big motocross racing event in Buchanan, Michigan at RedBud Track 'N Trail.

This is the 34th year for one of the biggest AMA Motocross bike races.

The event has turned into a festival --- one that began earlier in the week with amateurs and concludes with the pros this weekend.

The RedBud National generates more than $4 million for the region.

7-time AMA Motocross champion Ricky Carmichael will make his final appearance at RedBud.

Carmichael, who is currently pursuing a career in stock car racing, is looking for his 7th RedBud victory.

Many local riders are also hoping to qualify on Saturday in order to compete in front of the huge hometown crowd on Sunday.

The Weekend Schedule is as Follows:

Saturday

3:45 PM: Pre-Qualifying

Sunday:
9AM-10:30: Practice
