Long-time nascar veteran Ken Schrader was scheduled to race Wednesday at Plymouth Speedway.
But rains washed out the event. It has been re-scheduled for July 11th. Schrader will return to Plymouth to race on that night.
While the rains washed away the racing, it didn't wash away the fans. Many stuck around to meet Schrader, who was making his first-ever apperance at Plymouth Speedway.
Schrader, 53, is known as one of the genuine nice guys in racing. He signed autographs, posed for pictures, or simply chatted with the fans that came out to see him.
Schrader only has 4 career Nascar victories, but he's still competing in Nextel Cup Series. This year, he has participated in 11 races.
Thoughout the years, Schrader has raced on many different levels in many different vehicles: From Nascar to Busch to Truck Series to races at places like Plymouth Speedway.
Schrader says he's excited to return on July 11th to race in front of the Plymouth fans.
