Hoeppner Won't Coach IU in 2007

IU football coach Terry Hoeppner won't coach the Hoosiers in 2007.

Indiana announced that Hoeppner will take the year off due to medical reasons. It is the 3rd time in 2 years at IU, Hoeppner has been forced to take time off from the team.

He has two brain surgeries in the past 18 months to remove tumors.

In 2 years at IU, Hoeppner is 9-14.

Assistant coach Bill Lynch will coach the team in Hoeppner's absence.
