The San Diego Chicken will take over the Cove on Tuesday evening at 7PM for the Silver Hawks game against Ft. Wayne.

Today, the Famous Chicken made a special appearance at the WNDU Studios. He was given a special "tryout" to become a Newscenter 16 sports reporter.

The Chicken put on quite a performance. He had a solid interview with Sports Director Jeff Jeffers. He took over the edit room and and put together some fantastic highlights. He even dolled himself up in the makeup room before his big test on set, anchoring.

From here, it went a little down hill. The San Diego Chicken learned that this side of the business is not as easy as it looks.

Jeffers informed The Chicken that he did not make the cut, but that the Network could be interested in bringing him in to be the next NBC Peacock!
