It wasn't easy for John Gumpf when off-season workouts began last September. In the beginning first names and nicknames were the way to go.
There's David O, Louie, Mice, Paj, Special K, Broc, Smo, JR, and Vandy.
Over the year, Gumpf has been asked by PA announcers and media members how to pronounce some of his players names. That's a daunting task.
And while he still had trouble with some of the names, coach passed our final exam with flying colors.
