Carlos Zambrano didn't fight with his catcher this time around and Alan Trammell got the job done again as Chicago's acting manager as the Cubs defeated the Brewers 6-2.
The Cubs have won 3 of 4 games while manager Lou Pinella served a 4-game suspension after bumping a umpire last week.
Zambrano did not have catcher Michael Barrett today. He says Barrett, who he scuffled with in the dugout and later in the clubhouse last week, will return as his catcher for his next start.
Zambrano struck out a season high batters after giving up a season high 13 hits in last start.

Gary Sheffield let his hitting due the talking on Wednesday night. The Tigers slugger hit two home runs and Justin Verlander pitched a gem as Detroit routed the Rangers 10-0.
------
Chien-Ming Wang pitched like the Chien-Ming Wang of 2006 as the Yankees easily handled the White Sox 5-1.
New York scored 4 runs in the 3rd and that was plenty for Wang. He pitched a complete game, striking out 4 while giving up just one run on 5 hits.
