Defensive end Travis Leitko joined four other Irish players in inking free agent contracts after not being selected in the 2007 NFL Draft.

Leitko signed with the Ravens and joins teammate Marcus Freeman (tight end) as free agent signees of Baltimore.

Running back Darius Walker and defensive end Chris Frome both signed with Chicago. Wide receiver Rhema McKnight signed with New Orleans.

The five free-agent signees join 7 other former Irish players who were drafted into the NFL. That brings the Class of '07 total to 12. The 7 players drafted ties the 2nd most for the Irish since the NFL expanded the draft to 7 rounds in 1994.
