Four Irish players joined Brady Quinn, Victor Abiamiri, and Ryan Harris as NFL players on Sunday.
Defensive tackle Derek Landri was selected in the 5th round by Jacksonville. Cornerback Mike Richardson went in the 6th round to New England. Offensive Guard Dan Santucci and Safety Nedu Ndukwe both went in the 7th round to Cincinatti.
Two standout offensive players were not selected. Running Back Darius Walker, who left school early to enter the draft, made be regretting his decision. Wide Receiver Rhema McKnight also went undrafted.
Both players will look to sign with teams as free agents.
