Abiamiri, Harris Drafted on Day 1

It took a lot longer than expected for Brady Quinn to get drafted.

Once he did, it wasn't too much longer in the day for some of his former teammates to find their new homes as well.

Defensive End Victor Abiamiri was selected in the 2nd round by Philadelphia. The Eagles grabbed him with the 57th overall seelction. Abiamiri started 32 games in his career for Notre Dame. He finished his career with 21 sacks, 3rd most in school history. 10 of those sacks came in Abiamiri's senior season.

In the 3rd round, left tackle Ryan Harris was picked by the Broncos with the 70th overall pick. Harris will provide protection for 2nd-year Denver Quarterback Jay Cutler. Harris was a 4-year starter for the Irish, starting in just one less game in his career than Brady Quinn.
