Tigers pitching shuts down ChiSox

The last teams to represent the American League in the World Series met Wednesday in Chicago and a nice first inning was enough for the Tigers to defeat the Sox, 6-2.

Former Sox star Magglio Ordonez had a two-run single as Detroit jumped to a 3-0. That was enough for Chad Durbin and the relief corps as Durbin, Joel Zumaya and Todd Jones limited the Sox to only four hits.
