A night after Mark Buehrle pitched a no-hitter, the White Sox kept the hot streak alive defeating the Rangers 6-4 on the South Side.
With the game tied at 3 in the 7th, Joe Crede singled in Jermaine Dye to give the Sox the lead for good. Rob Mackowiak followed up with a 2-run homer.
Sammy Sosa, a former member of the White Sox and Cubs, hit his 592nd home run in the loss for the Rangers. It was his 4th HR of the season. Sosa was booed every time he came to the plate.
The White Sox are now 7-7 on the year and head to Detroit for a 3-game series against the Tigers beginning tomorrow night.
