Michael Floyd will be back this week but Dayne Crist will undergo surgery according to Irish head football coach Charlie Weis.
Floyd broke his collarbone against Michigan State and it was originally thought the Irish receiver would not play until a bowl game. But Floyd has cleared his medical tests and will be available on Saturday vs. Navy.
Crist, the backup quarterback to Jimmy Clausen, will have ACL surgery later this week. Crist was hurt against Washington STate last Saturday in San Antonio.
Evan Sharpley will move to the back-up with John Goodman now becoming the third string quarterback
