National Championship Trophy Finds New Home

Notre Dame fans won't have to go very far to see football's National Championship Trophy anymore.

A replica of the Trophy was on display this afternoon at the College Football Hall of Fame for its annual luncheon.

The trophy, donated by the Gerrits Foundation, will have a permanent home at the College Football Hall of Fame and will be easily accessible for fans.

The unveiling of the "Coaches Trophy" was part of Gridiron Legends Luncheon Series. The keynote speaker was Grant Teaff, Hall of Fame Coach and the current Executive Director of the American Football Coaches Association.

Teaff coached college football for 21 years at Baylor. He's been the head of the AFCA since 1994.
