Irish Baseball Wins Big 14-4

Only mother nature could have stopped the Irish baseball team on Wednesday. Notre Dame snapped a 3-game losing streaking, defeating winless Chicago State (0-23).

Notre Dame is now 12-12 on the season, finishing 4-3 on a 7-game homestand.

Freshman Eric Maust pitched a six inning gem, giving up 0 runs while striking out five.

Brett Lilley extended his hitting streak to 9 games.

The Irish return to Big East play on Friday when they travel to Pittsburgh for a 3-game series.
