Folks in Plymouth are excited because their Pilgrims cruised to a state title in Indy Saturday.
For the first time since 1982, Plymouth captured a state championship.
The boys beat Evansville Bosse with a score of 72 to 61.
The Fieldhouse was a sea of red on Saturday night.
Sunday, Plymouth residents were still echoing the praises of a victory well won. Teacher Karen Kraszak says, “Great game. Lots of excitement. I had to leave the room a couple of times, especially when it got down to a nine point difference. But I knew they could pull it off. And Oregon Davis, good to you too!”
Thousands of people came out yesterday to cheer on the teams.
