Washington beats out Mishawaka and flu at same time

The odds were against them yet still Washington pulled off a win against Mishawaka.

A third of the Washington's players were out with swine flu during last week's practice.

Yet Friday night the Washington panthers beat Mishawaka, 24 to 0.

"We just came out and played. We knew we had a job to do, and we went out there, and got ourselves ready for the sectionals," says Coach Antwon Jones.

The team now advances to sectionals against Clay at Jackson Field.

They hope to stay healthy in the meantime.
