Tom Brady Testifies for Charlie Weis

It was a very busy day in the Charlie Weis negligence case today.

In the morning, one of the nation's true sports heroes was in the Suffolk County Courtroom in support of his former Offensive Coordinator with the New England patriots.

There was not a seat to be found in the Boston Courthouse as Tom Brady testified.

Brady had been expected to testify earlier in the week, and his appearance produced a standing room only crowd and increased security.

The three time Super Bowl Champion was on the stand for about 30 minutes.

Brady said that he watched Charlie Weis drift in and out of consciousness when Brady visited Weis at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2002.

The former Michigan Quarter Back said he had no idea of just how bad a shape his coach was in, and that Brady wanted to stay with Weis and the family.
