If you don’t want to stay home and watch the game, there are plenty of places to take in the bowl festivities in Michiana.

As the football season winds down, it is going out with a bang for the Sugar Bowl.

Local restaurants and sports bars are getting ready for fans looking for a good seat.

“We're doing beer and food specials all night long and hoping to cram as many people in here as we can,” explains Jeff Morauski, Between the Buns.

If you could not make it down to the Sugar Bowl this year, no worries, you can come to Legends right here on Notre Dame's campus. They have lots of great food, they also have gumbo and you can also toast your favorite team with a hurricane.

It might not be Bourbon Street, but Legend's Cajun menu addition might be the next best thing.

“We figured we'd give people a taste of New Orleans that couldn't go. We need people to stay here and root them on,” explains Richard Jacobs, Legends of Notre Dame.

If you are looking for something that might be for every age in your family, the College Football Hall of Fame is staying open late for the bowl game.

“It's certainly is a unique structure. We have a 25 foot by 16 foot screen that you can watch the game on. But more importantly, you are at the shrine for College Football and can venture out of the theatre any time you want and catch some of the great exhibits that [we] have here,” explains Rick Walls, College Football Hall of Fame.

So, whether you are rooting for the Irish or the Tigers, fans are just hoping their team plays like a champion.
