Chris Badger, a 6'1 195 pound safety from Provo, Utah had decided early in the recruiting season that he would attend Stanford. He also had offers from LSU, Florida State, Oregon and Cal-Berkeley.
Over the weekend, Badger visited Notre Dame and decided to switch commitments from the Cardinal to the irish. As quoted on the rivals.com website, Badger says he was "blown away by the Notre Dame experience."
Badger is a hitter with few peers with a year left in high school. He flies to the ball and delivers a blow.
While on his visit, he met fellow LDS church member Manti Te'o who will begin his Irish career in the fall.
